Instructions for submission of PGRMC proposal
Please follow the revised combined PGRMC/IEC format
The protocol including covering letter, data collection proforma and questionnaires/annexures if any should be combined and sent as single MS word file. PDF files and scanned copies of word files will not be accepted.
Name the word file as” subject, candidate’s name, thesis title”, in that order. For example if you’re Dr. Kumar, from anatomy and your topic is” Inguinal canal anatomy”. Your file should be named as “Anatomy, Kumar, Inguinal canal anatomy”.
Two hard copies to be submitted to the office of the PGMRC, desk number 8, Dean research office, Administrative Block. (Font size 11 of Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing, printed back to back on A4 size paper with page numbering)
One soft copy of the proposal should be sent by e-mail to submission[dot]pgrmcjipmer[at]gmail[dot]com. The subject(title) of your mail should be the same as your word document title. Mail the soft copy of your protocol as a Single Word File Document to the PGRMC submission id.

Reference to the PGRMC Meeting in which proposal was considered including proposal number must be given in the covering letter. The proposal number will be the” date of presentation/order of presentation as mentioned in the minutes”. For example if your protocol was the sixth protocol presented on 19.04.16, your proposal number will be “19.04.16/6”. Please check the minutes of the meeting to get the order of your presentation (available in the minutes of meeting section in website/PGRMC section).
The protocols approved with modifications need to submitted as one original hard-copy with the changes highlighted with a yellow highlighter along with soft copy (changes highlighted with a yellow highlighter in MS word) only as single MS word file to submission[dot]pgrmcjipmer[at]gmail[dot]com.
Kindly submit corrected protocol along with covering letter enumerating the comments from PGRMC minutes for their proposal, with point-to-point reply of where the revision (mention page number) has been highlighted.

PDF files and scanned copies of Word files will not be accepted. The candidate, guide and the co guide/s should sign the covering letter.
The covering letter should be put on the first page of the MS word file.
Name the MS word file as “subject, candidate’s name, revised protocol”. For example, if you are Dr. Kumar from anatomy, your file should be named as “Anatomy, Kumar, Revised Protocol”. The subject (title) of your email should be the same as your MS word document title. (“Anatomy, Kumar, Revised protocol”)
One original hard-copy to be submitted to the office of the PGMRC, desk number 8, Dean Research office, Administrative Block.
If the revision is satisfactory, the approval certificate will be issued. If found unsatisfactory, the student will need to submit a fresh proposal as per the guidelines mentioned in the next PGRMC meeting, when announcement is made.
