Staff Clinic at JIPMER, Puducherry, was started in early 1960`s with the objective of providing health care services to eligible JIPMER employees and their dependents. Initially, it was started with the services of 02 Medical officers and 02 Hospital Attendants. With the increase in the number of employees and pensioners, 02 more Medical Officers were sanctioned in the year 2018.

Currently, more than 18000 beneficiaries are registered in Staff Clinic, including 3882 regular employees and their 10317 dependants; 491 Senior Residents and 779 Junior Residents; 1180 students; and 1840 pensioners. Medical facilities are provided as per Central Civil Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1944, as amended from time to time.

Location: Ground floor, Screening OPD block, JIPMER.

Registration: Registration is done for staff OPD from 9am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 3:30 pm
