Security Services in JIPMER has been provided by private Security on contract basis.

The functioning of the security is under the direct supervision of Officer in-charge of Security services, assisted by Security Consultant.

There are as many 12 Govt. Security staffs in the administration. They are looking after reception at the important blocks and they are the custodian of keys of each department.

At present M/s SIS Ltd., is the security service provider. The sanctioned strength of security is 505 which include 70 women securities. They are being deployed in the following zones round o’ clock (24/7).
