Undergraduate: For MBBS Students: Sixth semester students are given didactic lectures covering various common and important Paediatric Surgery topics and students are encouraged to take up Paediatric Surgery research projects, one such project is currently underway on evaluation of nuclear studies in obstructive lesions of kidneys.

Postgraduate:

For MS (General Surgery): All General Surgery postgraduate residents undergo an intensive one month posting in the department of Paediatric Surgery and are introduced to various aspects of emergency and elective evaluation and management of common paediatric surgical problems. They are encouraged to take up and present one seminar topic and several case presentations at various forums including the Paediatric, paediatric surgical and allied specialities.

For MD (Paediatrics): Integrated Seminars on topics of common interest

Post-Doctoral Course: The department conducts a three-year M.Ch. Paediatric Surgery programme with selection of candidates from an open all India entrance exam.
