JIPMER Outpatient Hemodialysis Centre (JOPHDC )

A maintenance dialysis unit with 25 dialysis stations, located in the Old Curie House, JIPMER Campus and operated by Fresenius Medical Care Put Ltd (Formerly: Sandor Nephro Services Pvt Ltd).  The project was funded by the Member of Parliament’s Local Area Development (MPLAD) Fund provided by: Thiru P. Kannan, Member Parliament (Raja Sabha) from Puducherry, 2010 – 2015, and executed under the Public-Private Partnership Model. JOPHDC was inaugurated on  30th November 2016 and operational since 5th   December 2016. It was conceived to serve as a model for execution of such projects under the PPP (public-private partnership) model, offering the best possible quality of patient care services at an affordable price, making life-saving treatment of dialysis accessible to even the poorest of the poor.
