The programmes conducted by the Department
HINDI DAY/HINDI FORTNIGHT CELEBRATIONS-2023
THE PROGRAMME OF HINDI DAY/HINDI FORTNIGHT-2023 WILL BE AS FOLLOWS.
- (i) All the employees who have working knowledge of Hindi and who have been trained up to Parangat level will do their Official work in Hindi on 14-09-2023. Xerox copies of the Noting, Drafting, etc., done by the staff in Hindi up to the forenoon on that day, may be forwarded by the Section-In-Charges through their officers, to Hindi Cell by 4.30 P.M. on the same day.
A First, a Second, a Third Prize and two consolation prizes will be awarded for each Competition, as per the order of the merit.
(ii) All the employees, the Section-In-Charges and Officers are requested to sign in
Hindi as far as possible on 14-09-2023.
(iii) The Officers and Section-In-Charges will encourage their staff to do their office
work in Hindi.

* The quiz competition will be conducted on Official Language Act/Rules, administrative terminology and translation of technical terms from English to Hindi and Vice-versa.
The participants will be awarded cash prize of Rs.100/- for each correct answer.
- The HINDI DAY is an important event and it is to be observed in a fitting manner. The Heads of the Departments/Sections/Units are therefore requested to arrange for circulation of this communication amongst all their officers/staff and encourage them to participate in the above programmes and arrange to forward the entries, to HINDI CELL, on or before 31.08.2023.
Valedictory function of Hindi Day/Hindi Fortnight Celebrations will be held on October 2024 at JIPMER, in which prizes and certificates will be distributed to participants of the above competitions.
