MD (Pediatrics) student wins an award

Dr Rahul Illaparambath, MD (Pediatrics) student (Final year), was awarded the best paper award in the oral paper presentation category at the 25^th National Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Pediatric Nephrology (ISPNCON 2013) held at St John’s Medical College, Bangalore on 24 November 2013. The paper entitled 'Evaluation of premature atherosclerosis in childhood nephrotic syndrome by endothelial dysfunction' was authored by Dr Rahul Illaparambath, Dr Sriram Krishnamurthy, Dr Santhosh Satheesh, Dr Niranjan Biswal, Dr Zachariah Bobby and Dr Subitha Lakshminarayanan.

Fellowship student wins a prize

Dr Jagadeesh fellowship resident (Pediatric Critical and emergency care), Department of Paediatrics was awarded the third prize for best poster at the 15^th National Conference of Pediatric Critical Care conducted by the intensive care chapter of Indian academy of Paediatrics during 21^nd – 24^thth November, 2013 at Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra. The paper entitled "Medical errors in pediatric intensive care unit" was authored by Dr Gitika Pant, Dr Jagadeesh, Dr Narayanan.P and Dr S. Mahadevan.
