Pediatric surgery team returned with a rich haul of BEST PAPER, BEST POSTER and Senior Resident Dr Ashwitha Shenoy won the travel bursary at the recently held PESICON 2019. an exclusive PEDIATRIC MINIMAL ACCESS SURGERY conference. All the awards were for the robotic surgery carried out at JIPMER, INCREDIBLE RECOVERY AFTER ROBOTIC SURGERY IN MAJOR PEDIATRIC ROBOTIC SURGERIES : SINGLE SURGEON EXPERIENCE, 25 cases single surgeon experience presented by Dr Ashwitha and guided by Dr Kumaravel. The second award was for an innovation utilising firefly technology in Robotic Pediatric Urological Surgery again presented by Dr Ashwitha and innovation by Dr Kumaravel. Both Faculty Dr Jindal and Dr Kumaravel participated in several sessions and were judges for a couple of award events.
