The fifth annual conference of Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Endocrine society TRENDO 2017 was held in ITC Chola ,Chennai on July 22-23 .

Dr. Nandhini L. Perumal, senior resident won the first prize for her poster titled “Insulin sensitivity and beta-cell function in Graves" disease and their changes with carbimazole induced euthyroid state”.
Another senior resident, Dr.Kalyani Sridharan won second prize in oral category for the project “The effect of Frey’s procedure on islet cell function in patients with chronic calcific pancreatitis”
