Dr. Medha Rajappa, Additional Professor, Department of Biochemistry, was awarded the first prize in the award paper session at the First Conference on “Genomics in Clinical Dermatology” (GENODERMA 2017), held at Pune from 3rd to 5th February 2017. The paper was titled “Adipokine gene polymorphisms in psoriasis in a South Indian Tamil cohort” and was co-authored by Anjana S, Laxmisha Chandrashekar, Thappa DM and Santhosh Satheesh.
